A Case For Staging

I was contacted last week by a realtor trying to sell a condo. It had been on the market for five months with no offers so she was hoping I could stage this big living room/dining room combo. It still amazes me that prospective buyers can go into a space and not see what it could be, but I suppose if everyone could see then I'd be out of a job.
I apologize in advance for the poor quality of these photos, but I quickly snapped them with my phone before heading home. The room is huge and could fit an even larger table than the one I used, or this size table plus a banquet and shelves. It's a great space.

The sliders lead out onto a huge deck that also connects to the kitchen and honestly, this space is big enough for a sectional. I think whoever put an offer in on the condo over the weekend is going to be hosting lots of family and friends simply because this room is perfect for it.

Over the weekend they got an offer and I don't know if it was due to the decrease in price or the staging, or a combination of both, but I'm choosing to think it was because of the staging. I'm so glad the realtor reached out to me and that I was able to help.
