Graceland: First Floor (Pink) Bathroom

Let me just preface that this is what trying to write is like...

So now that you know how difficult it is for me to write a blog post, let's discuss the first floor bathroom. It was... pink. Like, really pink. And lace... barf.

It originally had a narrow closet then the shower/tub on the left, and toilet, vanity, and large closet on the right. When completed it will have a walk-in shower, toilet, vanity, and one closet. And no pink.

This tub was a jetted tub so it had an engine underneath and was a pain to take out. Then add in that the tub walls were covering tile. Carrying the pieces out was exhausting.

And the floor tile came up in pieces after lots of chiseling, whereas the kitchen tile came up in whole tiles. It took me hours over multiple days to get the upstairs bathroom tile up. Below is my father demoing the downstairs bath.

But now that we've taken out the tile and the tub and the toilet and the vanity, we have a blank canvas, albeit still pink. For now.

The walls need to be painted along with the doors and window frame, then the shower base can go in and tiling and grouting can begin. I cannot wait to get started on it and share it with you!
