I am not at the house at all this week, and won't likely be able to get there until the end of next week due to a work trip and work. So I'm relying on my father to keep me apprised of what's going on (because I'm an impatient person and I hate missing out). So here are some photos he sent me today, when I asked if painting had started in earnest. Bear in mind that this is not the final paint color but primer, since the rooms were so colorfully painted before. The top photo was the purple dining room.
And below is the living room. The stove still needs to be removed and the fireplace painted, but you get the idea. And soon I'll have pictures to share of the rooms painted in the color I chose, which for the life of me I cannot remember the name of.
