Bookshelf: Lauren Oliver (Part 4)

I spent two days of the long July Fourth weekend at the beach subjecting myself to more sun than I intended.  Sometimes when I put my wetsuit on I forget that my hands, feet and head are still exposed and therefore need protection. So I had no guilty feelings yesterday when I spent the entire day in bed reading Lauren Oliver's "Requiem". I knew it would happen like that, in one burst of uninterrupted reading and that was probably why I put off reading it for months. Because now it's over and I wish it wasn't.

I don't regret reading it though. It was just as great as the first two books in the trilogy and obviously it's a page-turner since I didn't put it down until I was done. So now I must wait until March 2014 for Oliver's next book, "Panic". Ugh, that's so many months away! How will I ever survive? What will I read in the meantime? Oh, wait. I have those piles of books waiting.

Currently up, ""Sharp Objects" by Jillian Flynn. After that maybe "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green. And sprinkled throughout, a major revision for the next book to be published. So much to read/write and not enough time in the day!

Happy Reading!
