The Harvard Ranch Reveal: Dining Room

In truth, the dining room didn't really need much work. The light this house gets throughout the day is outstanding. The room looks out on the back yard and pool and beyond that conservation land. I saw a couple deer out there one day while working on the bathroom.

You could certainly put a much larger table in this room, I was just working with what I have. But I think a table double the length and seating for eight to ten would also fit. Or, if you didn't want it to be a dining room it could fit a couple couches or a sectional and make it a family room.

I went with much simpler place settings than in previous houses because I think what catches everyone's attention in this room is the view out the windows. The runner and napkins are Kate Spade (sometimes I find some serious gems at TJMaxx) and tie in with the black Windsor chairs, while the plates and blue tufted chairs tie together. I like black and blue, what can I say?
