Graceland: Making a Master Closet

In the master bedroom there are two closets, one regular closet with sliding doors and one small, narrow closet (behind that door on the left). Down the hall was another, large closet, and it just seemed like too many doors in a small hallway so I suggested we combine the two closets since they were back to back.

My father worked from one side and I worked from the other removing the baseboards and drywall.

As you can see, the closet on the master bedroom side was very small. There's not much that could have been stored in there, maybe a suitcase or two.

And now the master bedroom will have a regular sized closet and a walk-in closet. It's the stuff of my dreams.

I snapped this picture before the hallway door was framed and closed off, but now the only entrance is from the view below. I could probably fit all my clothes and shoes in there. I should probably just move in.

  1. Great idea to combine them for sure. I'm still not convinced you could fit all your clothes and shoes in there though. ;)

  2. What girl hasn't dreamed of a walk-in closet? That is the ultimate luxury.
