If you happen upon the latest issue of Girls' World Magazine, in stores now, make sure to pick up a copy. I wrote this issue's short story. You can find it at Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, most grocery stores (not in the checkout lines but in the magazine stand). The magazine is geared towards girls ages 8-13 and having now written stories for three issues, I wish it had been around when I was younger.
When I was asked to submit an idea for this issue I turned on my computer and wrote this story in 45 minutes. It might be the quickest story I've ever written and of the three I've written for GW this one is my favorite. It was fun to write and I love how it turned out with the illustrations. Make sure to pick up your copy now before they run out!
