Ranch House - Bedrooms

I thought it would be the most beneficial to take a look back at each of the three bedrooms and see the progression from smoker's den to family paradise. I didn't take transformation photos of each bedroom's closet because, well, they're just closets. And unless there's a gorgeous pair of shoes in there or a dress or something I'm not interested and I assumed the same from my audience. Just know that each bedroom has a decent-size closet.

Bedroom One:

The first bedroom as you walk down the hall from the living/dining room looks out on the front yard (and porch). You can comfortably fit a queen bed and side tables and it's across the hall from the guest bath. 

It's amazing how dark the bedrooms were before and now how bright and airy they feel. What a difference refinished floors and new paint makes.

Bedroom Two:

The second bedroom is the smallest, but not by much. It overlooks both the front and side yard and could comfortably fit a full bed and side tables or be an office with a pullout couch. I'm sure that done well wallpaper can look classy, but this poor bedroom was the pits.

Master Bedroom:

Lastly we have the master bedroom with the biggest closet and the best light. Overlooking the side and back yards, it get direct sunlight from morning to afternoon. It also has direct access to the stunning master shower which I wish I could find an excuse to use, just because.

I want a barn door so badly. Although my cats wouldn't appreciate one since they only know how to open regular doors. But that's neither here nor there.

Three pictures - before, middle and after - doesn't seem to do justice to the blood, sweat and, nope, there weren't any tears, shed over the three months spent renovating the house. It was exhausting in the best way possible and I hope people can appreciate how significant the change was.

Next we'll move on to the kitchen and how we turned a wasted breezeway into maybe the most significant room in the house.
