August is two days away. It's hard to believe the summer is half over. What's more surprising... I've only read 2 of the five books I had on my summer reading list.
Instead of focusing on the five books I set out to read, I've read so many others. Kaitlin keeps passing what she's read on to me (there's a pile solely of her books waiting for me) and since she's on summer vacation that pile just keeps growing like tribbles.
But so that I feel like I have done something, even if it's not to read all the books I set out to (there's still a month left!), here's a list of the books I have read...

These next few weeks I'll only be reading on my commute as I've set aside my evenings for massive amounts of editing. I'm currently stuck on this one chapter... it feels all wrong except that the bones are good. I'm just not sure where to go, how to rework what I have into what I imagine this chapter to be. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi!
Oh god, did I make a Star Trek and Star Wars reference in the same post?
