Bookshelf: Amazing Gracie

After weeks of reading the second "Song of Fire and Ice" book, I finally turned off my TV last Friday and finished the last ten pages.  Man those books are so good.  And so long.  I'm taking a quick break before delving into the third.  In the meantime I have picked up (from the piles in front of my dresser, which oddly seem to be growing) "Amazing Gracie: A Dog's Tale" by Dan Dye and Mark Beckloff.  This is a short memoir from the guys who started Three Dog Bakery which specializes in all natural (Ever checked the bag/can of your dog/cat's food and been unable to pronounce half the words?  That's not a good thing.) pet food.  This book in quirky, funny, well written and best of all there is not only a section of pictures (my favorite) but also there are little doodles on each page.  I mean clearly these are my kind of people.
Check out the bakery website here.  You can order their food and treats or donate to their foundation that helps disabled dogs, like Gracie.

Happy reading!
